Corrig Woods is a beautiful house in a lush, wooded setting on the outskirts of Portarlington town, Co. Laois. It is a spacious and grand five-bedroom Residential Service for Children with Disabilities. The property has large garden grounds and an outdoor activity space for service users to play. The site is well contained with fencing and woods. It is maintained to the best of standards to ensure it is a wonderful accommodation for our service users to live in. The house has two accommodation levels and bedrooms have beautiful views of the grounds and gardens. There is an outdoor gazebo and cooking space for summer activities and events with family and friends of our service users. There is a full staff compliment of qualified Health Care Workers and Social Care Staff and Senior Management have many years of care provision experience.

Portarlington is on the border of Co. Laois and Co. Offaly. Corrig Woods is in the Co. Laois side of the border. The River Barrow forms the border. Portarlington is about 70 kilometers west of Dublin and has a population of 9,288 people based on the 2022 census. Portarlington train station is 5 minutes’ walk from Corrig Woods, and this allows service users travel to many destinations at convenience. The town of Portarlington has all the amenities of a town of its size including medical centres, schools, activity centres, shops, restaurants, and clubs. Corrig Woods is well place to serve the needs of families and service users from all its neighbouring counties including greater Dublin area. Corrig Woods services will cater for children aged between 6 and 18 years.
